Although there are many low-cost tours to this region, our Belize tour is designed especially for the discriminating birder who expects excellent lodging and food as well as a fine birding experience. We hope you can join us in the this lovely country! Belize is an English-speaking country with an enormous diversity of birds, plants and wildlife. It has some of the most beautiful reefs in the world, vast rainforests, meandering tropical rivers and ancient Mayan ruins. You’ll experience all of these wonders of Belize in the greatest comfort.

This trip will emphasize tropical birds and the natural history of the tropical forests. In addition, we will spend some time exploring the lost culture of the Maya. As well as a High Lonesome guide, we will utilize licensed native guides to help us locate the best of the flora, fauna and cultural sites that abound.

Lamanai Outpost runs first-rate research programs in archeaology, ornithology and natural history. Chan Chich Lodge’s fine food and luxurious ambiance have made it Belize’s premier eco-lodge. Finally, we will enjoy prime bird watching at the luxurious Hidden Valley Inn in the Mountain Pine Ridge area.
